RESCUE DOGS WHO NEED HOMES
Did you know that most dogs end up in shelters, abandoned or unwanted thru no fault of their own?
Dogs can be left when their owner passes away, is in an accident or has sudden health issues.
One day the dog is snug and warm with their belly full and the next day their world is turned upside down. They become lonely and afraid. They can feel hopeless.
At Four Paws Elkhound Rescue we work tirelessly to make sure these Rescue Dogs are loved and wanted. With your support Rescue Dogs become important family members once again.

Sabe needs a home!

Sabe is Norwegian Elkhound. Her family rescued her when a nursing student was giving her away. They aren't able to keep her.

Sabe is a sweet girl. She is a great traveler. Sabe is good on a leash. She is healthy, spayed and up to date on shots. She gets along with other dogs. Sabe is three years old. She is located in norfolk VA Transport help is available.

BEAR
Bear needs a home!

Bear is a Border Collie Blue Heeler. He was rescued by the same family that had Deity the Norwegian Elkhound mix. They have too many dogs and aren't able to keep him.
Bear is an energetic boy. He loves the outdoors and playing fetch. Bear is healthy, microchipped, and up to date on shots. He is good with other dogs. Bear is 1 1/2 years old. He is in Pittsburgh, PA. Transport help is available.

Max needs a home!
​
Max is a Norwegian Elkhound. Max’s family rescued him from a rough situation. In his new home he had a buddy. Unexpectedly his buddy passed away and Max really misses him. His family now has young children as well.
​
Max is a very smart boy. He is well behaved and disciplined. Max knows sit, stay, place and paw. He gets along with other dogs. Max is healthy, neutered and up to date on shots. He is five years old. Max is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Transport help is available.

Little Bear is a Border Collie Mix. His family has a baby and no longer have time for him.

Little Bear loves to play outside and is great at fetch. He enjoys long hikes and loves to swim. He gets along with other dogs and cats. Little Bear is healthy, up to date on shots and neutered.
